Forget about fake news, Donald Trump loves urban myths. You know that e-mail hoax about Muslim extremists being killed with bullets that had been dipped in pig’s blood? Apparently Donald Trump doesn’t know that it was a hoax. He  shared the same myth he has used in his stump speech in a new tweet:

Trump has ofthen used the General Pershing pig blood story in a stump speeches to gleefully talk about how he would deal with terrorists.

Pershing used bullets dipped in blood myth

Really Trump? You’re going to fight  terrorists with bullets dipped in pigs blood? via the NY Daily News:

His supporters rabidly cheered him on as the GOP presidential front-runner turned myth into his own reality, telling them at a rally in North Charleston, S.C., about U.S. Gen. John Pershing supposedly executing dozens of Muslims held prisoner in the Philippines.

Donald Trump’s foreign policy suggests may include dipping bullets in pig’s blood and bringing back waterboarding, a banned interrogation tactic.

“He took 50 bullets and he dipped them in pig’s blood,” Trump said. “And he had his men load his rifles and he lined up the 50 people, and they shot 49 of those people. And the 50th person, he said, ‘You go back to your people and you tell them what happened.’ And for 25 years there wasn’t a problem.”

The yarn that Trump rehashed on the eve of the South Carolina primary stems from a hoax spread via email.

The hoax email began spreading after 9/11, first as a call for revenge, and later as a justification for the war in Iraq. There is no historical account of General Pershing ever doing this.  In addition, terrorist attacks did not end around the world during that 42 year period. Here’s an example of the fraudulent email now being used by Donald Trump to rile up bloodthirsty crowds of voters in the south.

One important thing to remember is that Muslims detest pork because they believe pigs are filthy animals. Some of them simply refuse to eat it, while others won’t even touch pigs at all, nor any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig, its meat, its blood, etc., is to be instantly barred from paradise and doomed to hell.
Just before World War I, there were a number of terrorist attacks against the United States and it’s interests by, you guessed it, Muslim extremists.
So General Pershing captured 50 of the terrorists and had them tied to posts execution style. He then had his men bring in two pigs and slaughter them in front of the, now horrified, terrorists.
The soldiers then soaked their bullets in pigs blood, and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad.
The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorist’s bodies and covered them in pig blood, entrails, etc.
They let the 50th man go. And for about the next 42 years, there was not a single attack by a muslim fanatic anywhere in the world.

See, if there’s one thing that terrorists are afraid of, it’s bullets covered in pig blood.  So now we know how Donald Trump will keep America safe from terrorists, by dipping bullets in pig blood. Problem solved!
